Dr. Stanton has a special interest in colonic disorders and colon cancer prevention. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Oral Roberts University and was president of the O.R.U. Beta Beta Beta Biological Society when it was selected as the top chapter in the nation. He graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Tulsa, and completed a Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, Texas. He has served as Chief of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy at St. Francis Hospital and has been involved with teaching residents. He has traveled to many countries for medical missionary work. He enjoys spending time with his family and is active in scouting. Dr. Stanton is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
